A Northern York County Regional police officer "performing stationary patrol" witnessed part of the robbery, according to a release by the police.
Wilmer Febus-Lopez, 29, John Taylor-Williams, 22, both of Spring Grove, and Ciera Nicole Reisinger, 21, of Dover, parked a gold 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee two houses south of Rutter's Farm Store in the 1400 block of Seven Valleys Road in North Codorus Township around 1:20 a.m., according to the release.
Febus-Lopez and Taylor-Williams, got out of the Jeep, went to the building, and soon were seen running out of the store back towards to the vehicle, which was pulling out of the driveway and heading south on Seven Valleys Road with all of its lights off.
The officer began to follow the vehicle and "attempted to make contact with the store via cell phone but received no answer," police say.
"A short time later York County 911 dispatched units to the Rutter’s Farm Store, advising that the clerks were robbed at gunpoint," as stated in the release.
When the trio got to Glen Rock Borough the Northern York County Regional police officer, along with Southern Regional police and the Pennsylvania state police performed a traffic stop, according to the release.
A warranted search of the Jeep uncovered the allegedly stolen cash, ski masks, and a BB gun, as detailed in the release.
All three actors were charged with Criminal Conspiracy-Robbery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, police explain.
Reisinger’s bail was set at $30,000, Febus-Lopez’s was set at $40,000, and Taylor-Williams' bail was set at $50,000, police say and court records confirm.
All three remain in the York County Prison, according to their court dockets.
All three had criminal records for theft, threats, or traffic offenses, but Reisinger previously was found guilty three times of theft including a felony charge along with two misdemeanors for driving while operater privilege suspended or revoked and corruption of minors in January 2022, and she was on probation at the time of this robbery, court records show.
The trio will have a joint preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge Thomas J. Reily at 2 p.m. on September 23, according to court documents.
